Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and CandidateInbox LLC (“we”), which runs CandidateInbox. By using a CandidateInbox address you accept them. If you got your address through another app, such as ApplyRunner, that app's terms also apply to it. Platforms using our API sign a separate agreement.

The service

You get an email address on candidateinbox.com for your job search. We forward every email sent to it to the email you or your app gave us, read it to pick out hiring-site verification links and to sort it, and share the results with your app as described in the privacy policy. We only receive and forward: nothing is sent from your address, and replies you write come from your own email.

Your address

• Your address is made from your real name. Use it only for your own job search
• You agree that your app may use it to create accounts on hiring sites for you, and to open the verification links those sites send
• Keep the email we forward to up to date. We can't deliver to an address that doesn't work
• The address is yours to use, not to own. When it closes (see the privacy policy) mail to it is refused, and we won't give it to anyone else

Acceptable use

Don't use CandidateInbox to:

• Pretend to be someone else, or get an address in someone else's name
• Sign up for things unrelated to a job search, or collect bulk or marketing email
• Break the law, or the terms of the hiring sites you use
• Interfere with the service or try to reach other people's mail

We may suspend or close an address that breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we can.

Delivery

We work hard to deliver every email: failed deliveries are retried and we are alerted if one still fails. But email can be delayed or lost by systems outside our control, and sorting is automatic and can be wrong. Always check important messages yourself, and don't rely on CandidateInbox as the only copy of anything.

Price

CandidateInbox is free to you when your app provides it. If we ever charge you directly, we will tell you the price before you pay anything.

Ending

You can stop at any time by closing your address through your app or by writing to us. We may stop providing the service, with reasonable notice where we can, and will keep forwarding until the address closes.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for decisions employers make, for missed opportunities, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any dispute will be decided by the courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally.
