What is CandidateInbox?
An email address made for a job search. You get an @candidateinbox.com address to give employers. Every email sent to it is forwarded to your own inbox and matched to the application it's about.
Is it a separate mailbox I have to check?
No. Every email is forwarded in full, attachments included, to the email you already use. You read and reply there; your reply goes straight to the employer. Nothing is ever sent from your CandidateInbox address.
I'm a recruiter. Who am I emailing at @candidateinbox.com?
A real candidate who uses a dedicated address for their job search. Write as you normally would; your message is forwarded to them, and their reply comes from their personal email. CandidateInbox is an email service, not a recruitment agency, and doesn't represent candidates.
How is CandidateInbox related to ApplyRunner?
CandidateInbox is an independent company, and ApplyRunner is its first customer. ApplyRunner users get an address set up for them, used for applications and, with their agreement, to verify hiring-site accounts. Every email still reaches the candidate.
Who can read my email?
Your email is forwarded to you and shared with the app you signed up through, so it can track your applications. To sort an email, its subject and text are read by an AI service; attachments never are. See the privacy policy for details.
